Just started reading this book. Very excited since it has been recommended to me by a million people. It was suggested reading for Doug Beasley's workshop at CPW and I never got around to reading it. I will give a review when I am finished.
I have to say, that is one big advantage to the semi unemployed life--- reading time a plenty!

You are so fortunate to live in an art community like Woodstock, NY. My favorite college art professor, Peter Jones (LA Tech), came from Woodstock.
Most of creative folks in Ruston, LA have always wanted our town to be known as an "Art Town" but we can't attract the artist because the majority of community just don't financially support the arts.
